Homebound Ministry
Do you enjoy bringing hope and spirituality to people? Prayerfully consider joining the Homebound Ministry to serve Holy Communion to those whose health prevents them from coming to church. You will be continuing the loving and caring bond Christ has nurtured.
At St. Bernard’s, you will be paired with only one person to visit each Sunday in the Vernon area.
At St. Matthew’s, the ministers rotate Sunday visits depending on their availabilities.

Does someone in your circle of family and friends have difficulty getting to mass to receive Holy Communion? Call either the St. Bernard office (860-875-0753) or St. Matthew’s office (860-872-0200) during business hours to set up Homebound visits.
