Father White Scholarship Fund

The Father White Scholarship Fund was established to pay tribute to the Rev. John White, a priest we all admired and loved. Throughout his priestly ministry, Father White embraced his vocation by preaching, teaching and living the Gospel message of compassion and service. He epitomized the ideal of diocesan priesthood. Perhaps he is best known for the energy and love he gave to promoting good Catholic education. 

The Blessed Sacrament Parish Father John White Scholarship is presented each year to selected graduating 8th grade students who intend to be enrolled in a Catholic High School. All are chosen from our Faith Formation Program.

General Eligibility Criteria

• Currently attending Blessed Sacrament Parish Faith Formation program
• Entering 9th grade in a Catholic High School
• Demonstrate an active faith life
• Actively involved in community service
• Demonstrate leadership qualities
