Living through grief is not easy, but it does not have to be done alone. Blessed Sacrament Parish will offer a 9-week support program called “New Day” for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. This program aims to build a sense of community where people can give and receive support.
Trained facilitators lead this program, which includes prayer, discussion, and journaling. Although this program is faith-based, it is not restricted to Catholics, and all are welcome. To accommodate individual needs, the group is limited to between 6 and 9 people. We recommend waiting at least 6 months after the loss.
