The Justice & Peace ministry will be collecting gift cards to be distributed to Cornerstone, Vernon Social Services, Tolland Human Services, and the CT Dept. Of Children & Families, Manchester office for their clients in need of assistance this Christmas. Suggestions include: Target, Kohl’s, Walmart, Cinemark, etc.
Gift cards can be dropped off in the weekend collection baskets through the weekend of December 13/14 or at either the church office.
Keep in mind our parish gift card sale being held at both churches. Purchasing gift cards through our sale allows the convenience of purchasing gift cards right at our parish plus a percentage of the proceeds goes toward our Haiti outreach mission. Just let them know they are intended for this collection and the cards will go directly to us with no need for you to pick them up.
We thank everyone for their continued generosity towards these kids and families who might otherwise have very little this Christmas.
