Dear Parents,
As the new school year begins and our college-aged youth head off to their universities and schools we begin our vigil of prayers asking God to watch over them, keep them safe, and help them have a wonderful experience. Along with my prayers, I also would like to send a note to each of them and let them know that their parish and Pastor are thinking and praying for them. This is a crucial time in their development as responsible young Christian adults and I would like to send a gentle reminder that, “away from home” is never “away from God”.
If you would like your son or daughter to receive a note from me please contact the office with their name and email (or address) and I will be happy to surprise them with a hello and a promise that with God they never journey alone. (I’ll also remind them to call home!)
