The Cornerstone Food Cupboard
We are continuing to provide clients with pre-packed bags of nonperishable foods due to the coronavirus. Because we have to limit the weight and size of food items, we ask for small size food items instead of large or family size items or multi-pound items. And we cannot put glass jars in the bags of food. The items below are items we cannot usually obtain for free from Foodshare.
Most Needed Food Items:
- Pasta sauce (Francesco Rinaldi & Aldi’s come in plastic jars )
- Canned soup (especially chicken noodle, tomato, cream of chicken and cream of mushroom)
- Rice-a-Roni, Pasta Roni, or Knorr side dishes
- Instant soup mix
- Pouches of instant potatoes
- Ramen noodles (especially six-packs)
- Salad dressing (small bottles, 8 or 9 ounces)
- Canned baked beans or pork and beans
- We greatly appreciate all donations, including grocery store gift cards!
To donate items to the Cornerstone Food Cupboard:
Please leave items in the vestibule at St. Bernard Church. Someone from the Food Cupboard will pick items up weekly.
