Dinners are $20/person, including a generous portion of butcher cured corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and dessert (provided by BSP Youth Ministry).
Bishop Cote has granted the following dispensation:
I hereby grant to all Catholics of the Diocese of Norwich, as well as all present here that day (March 17th), a dispensation from abstinence from meat. All who make use of this dispensation are obliged in conscience to undertake another work of charity, exercise of piety, or an act of comparable penance that day.
The proceeds from the dinner will be used by Council 4122 with their partnership with the Blessed Sacrament Pro-Life Committee to support Birthright and other crisis pregnancy centers through the "Aid and Support After Pregnancy", "ASAP". For every $500 that a council donates to a qualifying pregnancy resource center — up to $2,000 in the 2022-23 fraternal year — the Supreme Council will add $100, and the Connecticut State Council will add $75, turning each $500 donation into $675.
Additional donations to support the Blessed Sacrament Pro Life ministry, can be made on the online order form. A portion of the St. Patrick's dinner proceeds will also support youth programs.
